California Cannabis Industry Association Holds Bay Area Cruise Fundraiser

 

The California Cannabis Industry Association (CCIA) is holding their PAC Bay Area Cruise Fundraiser on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM. 

 

A limited number of tickets are available for groups or individuals to join the festivities and help a great cause while enjoying an open bar, buffet dinner and hors d'oeuvres, on a scenic cruise around the San Francisco Bay at sunset.

 

From the Bay Bridge to the Golden Gate Bridge, partygoers will enjoy all the sights from a two-story luxury yacht. Cruise along the Embarcadero, past Fisherman’s Wharf, around Alcatraz and along Treasure Island.

 

This is a unique opportunity to mix with industry leaders and get updated on this year’s legislative session, while helping the most important cannabis association in California.

 

With the legislative session in its final months, and likely profound changes coming for the cannabis industry next year, this is an important time to help support the California Cannabis Industry Association.

 

The CCIA was formed to unite California’s cannabis industry and to allow it to speak with one voice at the state and local levels. The CCIA acts as a resource to lawmakers regarding all areas of the cannabis industry, and has drafted and sponsored vital legislation, including a bill to create a financial co-op system for the California medical cannabis industry.
